Company History

The Canine Development Group was conceived from the hard work and creative minds of three K-9 handlers who had spent years working together on various training ventures and programs. It is through their experiences together and training hundreds of police service dogs and handlers across the United States and its territories that our company was born. The concepts and techniques of quality training are not unique to CDG, but rather perfected in our conferences, and working dog seminars. Our corporation was established in 2003 and with that came the latitude to train more Police K-9 teams in more locations across America than ever before. In 2007 Canine Development Group, in partnership with the Police K-9 Magazine, created the first ever HITS conference which has taken the police canine industry to an exciting new level of professionalism that has never been seen before. Canine Development Group is involved in the constant evolution of new ideas for police dog training that is limitless in resources and quality trainers.
